Delete your account & data
Seaman App · Applies to the Seaman App Android application · Last updated 13 July 2026You can permanently delete your Seaman App account and all data associated with it at any time, whether or not you still have the app installed. Deletion is immediate and cannot be undone.
Option 1 — in the app (instant)
- Open Seaman App and sign in.
- Go to the Profile tab, then tap “Privacy” (also reachable as “Privacy policy & account deletion”).
- Scroll to the Danger zone and tap “Delete my account & all data”.
- Confirm twice (a double confirmation, so it can't happen by accident). Your login, profile, certificates and scans, sea service, achievements, ID/verification documents, consents, and files are permanently erased immediately.
Option 2 — by email
If you can no longer access the app, email privacy@seamanapp.com from the email address of your account with the subject “Account deletion request”. We verify the request and complete the deletion within 15 days, confirming by reply.
What's deleted, what's kept
Deleted: your login, profile, certificates and scan files, sea-service records, achievements, countries visited, ID/verification documents, subscription records, community posts, and all consent grants.
Kept: a minimal, immutable audit entry that a deletion occurred (no career content), retained for legal accountability under RA 10173.
